Roy Lee’s life

Roy Lee was born on 26 August 1941 in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, the United States. He is a musician by profession. He is the child of Roy Lee Ferrel and Ruth Rebecca Trueblood. He has attended the University of Southern California, California, the United States.

He is married to Batty Kay Overman, who was a teacher in Oct 1964. Unfortunately, they divorced each other in 1975. They together have two children named Patrick and Will.

Roy started his career by playing music at an old nightclub. He then moved to California to pursue his passion for music. In California, he started performing for the band Dick Dale and Del-Tones. In 1964, he appeared in William Asher’s comedy film Muscle Beach Party. In the 1960s, he was made known to Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers. He toured with them for almost 20 years and then stopped playing for bands to take care of his children.

Roy’s son married Swedish Actress Viveca Paulin in 2000. They have been dating since 1995. They together have three children named Magnus Paulin Ferrell, Mattias Paulin Ferrell, and Axel Paulin Ferrell. They both are happily married and live in Orange County, California, and New York City.

Ferrel is a supporter of the Democratic Party and has done canvassing for them in 2018 in the state of Georgia. He also supported Barack Obama in the 2012 Presidential Elections.
