Sharonda Sampson was born on 20 January 1979 in Ruffin, South Carolina, USA. She is an Afro-American. She attended high school in South Carolina and graduated from the LivingStone College. She is a primary school teacher for physical education.

She had a family background of sports. She met her ex-husband, Lateef Williamson who was a footballer. They married in 1997 but divorced each other after a few years. Then she dated Lee Anderson, who was also a basketball player but due to an accident he did not join the game.

He helped Zion in basketball training. She has a son, Zion from Lateef and a stepson Naoh from Lee. She was an athlete from her school. She is very close to his son Zion.

Zion was born on 6 July 2000 in Salisbury, North Carolina, USA. He is a NBA player and currently playing for the team New Orleans Pelicans. He attended Spartanburg Day School. He was among the top five players in his school. He made his debut in the NBA in the year 2019 from the team New Orleans Pelicans.

Zion drew his attention in high school due to his slam dunk or simply dunk. He has played basketball for Duke University as well. His mother has trained him in basketball and has played a big role from his struggle to his success.
