Dylan’s mother Nadia was born on 12 November 1961 in Onești, Romania. Her parents are Stefania-Alexandrina Comaneci and Gheorghe Comaneci. She graduated from the Politehnica University of Bucharest. She was raised in an Orthodox church.
Dylan’s mom began gymnastics when she was in kindergarten with a team named Flacara. When she was 6, she was selected to attend Béla Károlyi’s experimental gymnastics school. She started training with Károlyi at seven. In 1970, she competed for her hometown team. At the age of nine, she was the youngest gymnast to win the Romanian Nationals. When she participated in her first international competition she bagged a gold in 1971. He graduated from Niles West High School in 1976. He then attended the University of Chicago. After that, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma.
He first played gymnastics in his school. Then he played it for the YMCA. At the age of 14, he won the 1972 U.S. Junior National Championships. Then at the age of 17, he won the U.S. Gymnastics Federation All-Around championship. He qualified for the 1980 Summer Olympics but was not able to attend due to a boycott.
